Braemar College is an independent, co-educational, ecumenical school for students in Years 5 to 12. The College has two campuses, both of which are located near Woodend, less than an hour from Melbourne's CBD.

About You:

The College seeks an outstanding teacher knowledgeable and passionate about Digital and Design Technologies and current pedagogical thinking. It is expected that you will:

• Have an enthusiastic approach to the education of young people including a focus on developing skills and underpinning knowledge.
• Demonstrate knowledge of the Design and Digital Technologies curriculum through to VCE.
• Design and deliver learning experiences that combine theory and practice for concepts including robotics, drones, coding, new and emerging technology, and much more.
• Create a classroom environment that instils innovative design thinking and real-world problem-solving in our students to encourage creativity and innovative thinking.
• Demonstrate the ability to work collaboratively with staff.
• Show a willingness and the capacity to contribute to the wellbeing of students.
• Be open to the possibilities of teaching in flexible learning spaces, including a new purpose-built building opening in 2025.
• Display innovation in curriculum and collaborative learning approaches.
• Have a tertiary teaching qualification that enables you to teach Technologies.
• Display an individual learning disposition that strives for continual improvement.
• Be a current VIT registered teacher, graduates are welcome to apply.
