About You:It is expected that you will:Be enthusiastic about the education of young people.Demonstrate knowledge of the VCE Mathematics study design.Have recent experience in teaching and assessing Mathematics.Be a highly skilled and dedicated teacher who contributes to the Learning Area.Display a sound knowledge of teaching pedagogies and practices with a focus on developing students’ knowledge and skills.Have a tertiary teaching qualification that enables you to teach Mathematics.A willingness to teach in the Middle years would also be appreciated.Hold a current Teacher registration with VIT.The successful candidate would commence with induction on 25 January 2023.In addition, the preferred applicant will have an understanding of and commitment to, the ethos of Independent Schooling and a willingness to contribute to College events and adhere to the College's 'Child Safety Policy'.Expressions of interest are invited from suitably qualified teachers; both experienced and graduate educators are welcome to apply.Applications should be made as soon as possible and will be evaluated upon application the position will remain open until 19 October 2022.
