Teacher Health and Physical Education

Braemar College is an independent, co-educational, ecumenical school for students in Years 5 to 12. The College has two campuses, both located near Woodend, less than an hour from Melbourne's CBD.

The position is part-time due to parental leave. The approximate time fraction is .70; those seeking full-time employment will also be considered.

Commencing no later than Term 3, from 21 July 2025.

About You:

The College seeks an outstanding teacher who is knowledgeable and passionate about Health and Physical Education and current pedagogical thinking. It is expected that you will:

• Have an enthusiastic approach to the education of young people including a focus on developing skills and underpinning knowledge.
• Demonstrate knowledge of the HPE curriculum through to VCE.
• Demonstrate the ability to work collaboratively with staff.
• Show a willingness and the capacity to contribute to the wellbeing of students.
• Display innovation in curriculum and collaborative learning approaches.
• Have a tertiary teaching qualification that enables you to teach HPE.
• Display an individual learning disposition that strives for continual improvement.
• Be a current VIT registered teacher, graduates are welcome to apply.
