At times the instrumental tutor will also be involved in ensembles and group lessons.The ability to commence for 2025.Responsibilities:The successful candidate will:Maintain a high standard of instruction and feedback to students.Deliver and promote the student instrumental program within the College.Be passionate about students’ performances, supporting them at College events.About You:It is expected that you will:Have the ability to demonstrate professional knowledge of your specialty to VCE level.Have an engaging manner with students who are developing as young musicians.Participate actively in music events.It would be advantageous to have a tertiary qualification relevant to Music and/or teaching.Have an enthusiastic approach to the instruction of young people, with a focus on developing knowledge and skills.The capacity and willingness to contribute to the Music Team.Hold a current Working With Children Check, or have the ability to apply for one, or have teacher registration with VIT.In addition, the preferred applicant will understand and be committed to the ethos of Independent Schooling, be willing to contribute to College events, and adhere to the College's 'Child Safety Policy'.Applications should be made as soon as possible and will be evaluated upon application. Instrumental Music Tutor
