Braemar College is an independent co-educational, ecumenical school for students in Years 5-12. The College has two campuses both of which are located near Woodend, less than an hour from Melbourne's CBD.The successful candidate will experience working in one of the most unique educational settings and teach committed and passionate students.Position:Braemar is seeking enthusiastic casual relief teachers at both our Middle and Senior School campuses. There will be a combination of pre-arranged casual teaching in addition to short notice requirements.You will commence in Term 1, 2025.Responsibilities:The successful candidate will:Undertake replacement classes and or duties for absent teachers.Provide quality learning and teaching experiences for students.Participate in student wellbeing program if required.The ability and preparedness to undertake practical classes in Health and Physical Education would be an advantage,About You:It is expected that you will:Have an enthusiastic approach to the education of young people including a focus on developing skills and underpinning knowledge.Show a willingness and the capacity to contribute to the wellbeing of students.Be prepared to participate in co-curricular activities.Be open to the possibilities of teaching in flexible learning spaces.Be a current VIT registered teacher.In addition, the preferred applicants will have an understanding of and commitment to, the ethos of Independent Schooling and adhere to the College's Child Safety Policy'.
